Maybe there are some images from zooming around the school to different classses and subjects, but everyone is (ridiculously) doing what they are told. We might have some really daggy choral group singing a lame version of “I wanna be Educated.”

We could zoom behind the books of the lined up students to see each of them, rather than listen to the teacher, is hooked into a small device like a Touch or phone.

We can have students losing themselves in Australian Idol, WoW, Cartoons, End of the World, etc. while the teacher smiles at how well the students are understanding differentiated equations, French conjugations, the theme of Romeo & Juliet, the cause of the French Revolution, etc. The idea is that no matter what’s happening in front of them, the students are tuning out into their New WWW dreamworld.

Then we can warp into you guys, the cluey, Tech Crew who take the advantages of Web 2 to be the ones who create FireFox, WordPress, TakingITGlobal, Napster, etc. You could go to Stanford University’s Online High School or learn on your own at MIT Open Courseware.

All this could lead to Wikicademy, where you know that we know that you know best.

We could then show the classrooms and subjects we visited earlier, but now instead of boring zombies, we see students and teachers all engaged in real learning. Some might be helping people in Cambodia, others helping with global warming, others doing real science,

Also I’ve been wanting to work with students to make a video about new ways to look at school and education. There is mwesch’s A Vision of Students:

Yesterday I had a blast playing Halo 3 for the first time. It lead me to reflect on the countless hours I’ve poured into the Halo series over the past 6 years. There is now a new apple ipod Nano available. It has many new features in comparison to the old one. It now has a 2 inch screen and is also able to play videos as well as music.

It can store up to 40 000 songs and 200 hours of video. There is one slight problem and downfall of the new Nano that is the question Who would want to watch a movie on a screen so small???. A new feature incorporated into this tiny package is  a new touch screen access feature. This however is found on the other items in the new range of apple items.

This is a vote to see if students would benifit from wireless access from a laptop or other wireless device.

MY first game off the block has to be the release of the brand new transformers game 2007

I was first introduced to this game by seeing the movie and thinking to my self if they were going to make a game of it and yes in about 5days time Activision had released it. The idea of this game which i think is quite weak pretty much it just goes like this “hi I’m 50ft lets go bash stuff up” which i think i delivered really well with destructible environment such as buildings and cars. As a lot of movie games are known to be”slopish” at times transformers takes a different view of that not basing it on the movie and using earth as a battle ground for the Auto-bots  and the Decepticons as the battle it out for earth in search for the great cube.

Transformers the game offers you the choice of playing the Autobots or the Decepticons which is quite nice by using the famous Optimus Prime or the F-22 jet Starsream.

The game play is really quite simple or you do is just pull out Plasma gun and start blasting away or using helicopter blades to “slice and dice” However it does getting very boring very quickly of just chop chop shot shot kind of game and if you not doing that then you would be in vehicle mode chasing around the city to find the next mission.

Overall this game is delivers and OK 3rd person rpg.

There is a new show on channel 9 called iCaught. This is a show which shows all the best mini films ever put on youTube. Its on monday nights at 7:30 (i think) and it is really funny like the thriller prison versoin and the sicotic evil hamster.
