Saving Presentations in a Flash
March 13, 2009 – 10:46 am1) You have already created a presentation. Now it’s time to save the file as a Flash animation. This is good for 2 reasons: you can share the presentation on the Web for student-use (anyone can play the presentation, not just people with Microsoft PowerPoint). Second, you make the file much smaller
- If you use PowerPoint on a PC, download the iSpring Plug-in.
- If you use Keynote on a Mac – simply “File > Export” as a swf (shockwave flash).
Example from Oxley College Science
or play it straight from the page:
The Flash plugin is required to view this object.
The 2nd Step is to embed the animated slideshow into a Web page.
Use your faculty / course blog. Make sure it has the special SWF plug-in installed. Contact Tom if you need this done.
