Getting into your Blog
If you are a new user, then it’s likely you have been registered for your department’s blog. The pattern is that your surname is your username (all lowercase) and the initial password is set to something you should change immediately. The tutorial to use here is Change your Blog Password.
Embedding a YouTube Video
Many people are finding that using a video prompt for student writings or discussions is helpful. The easiest way to do this is through an emedded video that is already online. The greatest source of videos is YouTube, which is blocked for student use at school. Teachers, however, can how the videos from their laptops and projectors for whole-group activities and the students can access the videos from home.
