A Lovingly Woven Tapestry – Oxley College 1983 – 2004

An intimate and delightfully written history of Oxley College – from the early years in the late 1970s when an independent secondary school was an idea in the minds of a couple of local parents – to now, when Oxley is a vital and energetic part of the Southern Highlands community. A Register of past and current staff and students is included in the book.
This splendid book records the foundation of the College and identifies its work over the first twenty one years. For those who are newer to the College, it is an important thing to understand our roots and our original priorities.
Clothing Pool
Items can be brought in to be sold at the Clothing Pool. Once an item is brought to Clothing Pool, its condition is assessed and a sale price is determined. Items are expected to be in good condition.
Clothing Pool will buy the item at 50% the value of the determined sale price.
Payment will be credited to current school accounts at end of term. The condition of the garments is therefore important. All garments must be of current School Uniform, dry cleaned or washed and ironed, on hangers wherever possible and in good repair – no fallen hems, rips, broken zippers, missing buttons, and not excessively faded, frayed or stained. If these requirements are not met, then the garments may not be accepted.
Lost Property
Lost Property that has been labelled is returned to the student via Student Services and Tutors. Unlabelled items of clothing a placed in the school shop. Any Lost Property not claimed after one month will be disposed of or placed in Clothing Pool for sale.
For enquiries please phone or email the Oxley Shop Co-ordinator Jo Ismay during shop hours on 4862 7724. Any offers of volunteer help would be most appreciated.
