Careers Counselling

Guidance for career choices is provided by the Careers Counsellor. A comprehensive careers library and online facilities provide students with information on all post-school options, including Universities, the TAFE system, apprenticeships and other training schemes. Vocational assessments can also be undertaken by the Careers Counsellor for students who have difficulty choosing a career path.

Please visit our Careers Corner site for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Publications

Current TAFE, University and other guides are available from the Careers Counsellors office located at the rear of the David Wright Library. These are an invaluable resource for all school leavers.

Career Central

Career Central has developed an online career service built by Careers Advisors specifically for schools and their members.

Oxley College has joined the Career Central Club so parents, students and teachers can access daily notices, the latest career information and job opportunities available. Other features of the site include course searches at University, TAFE colleges and Private Providers. A survival guide for leaving school is also available on the site.
