Hi Meg,

I would be happy to help you. You can record directly into MovieMaker and getting music from coyrighted sources would be fine for this Year 7 assignment. when you get to Year 8 and the video you make is submitted to a real contest, everything must be copyright free.

Look for me at lunch in the Library on Friday or Mondays.

Thanks,

Mr. March --

I am in year 7 and I am trying to do a voiceover and add music to my Year 7 assignment on Movie Maker. Can you help please. Some ideas on where to get music and how to do voiceover would be great. Thanks very much. Meg

Hi Jacqui,
On the Mac, use the browser Firefox (you can download it here)
Then add the extension - Easy Youtube Downloader

Firefox will then restart.
Go to Youtube and surf to the movie you want. You will now find a button added under the video that says "Download". You can now download it as mp4.

Dear Students,

Question
I was asked by some students what they should do if their videos were inported upside down.
Answer
In Movie Maker, click once on the video clip and then access "Video Effects" (either through the menu or right-mouse click). Once of the options is "Rotate 180." That's what you want.
