Features
The library consists of a rich collection of print and non-print resources, all designed to support the Curriculum or to offer reading materials for leisure-time.
In addition to the 20,000 books, students have access to a collection of 60 periodical subscriptions, the daily and local newspapers, numerous sets of encyclopedias and a pamphlet file of newspaper clippings and brochures.
The Library contains a bank of computers which are networked to the Internet, to an email facility, to a printer, and which allow access to Microsoft Word so that students have the opportunity to research and present their class and assignment work in a professional format, which is fitting to the expectations of the modern educational climate.
Library staff want to assist students and other visitors with their research. The teacher-librarian, Mrs Fishburn, is assisted by Mrs Everingham and Ms Bell.
