Hi Year 7!
Your task is to create your own comic strip in French. Like the comic strip we’ve read in class, you might like yours to be about your first day at high school (which wasn’t long ago!) but, if not, feel free to create your comic strip about any situation you like. MOST IMPORTANTLY: Try to use as much of the new French vocabulary you have learnt this year e.g. saying hello, asking what someone’s name is, asking how someone is.
Experiment with the comic strip creation tools on the website and, once you’ve completed your comic strip, please print it and e-mail a copy to me (I will put my e-mail address up on the board during class). Please use your school e-mail address where it asks you to enter your e-mail address.
Click here to enter the comic strip creation website (try this version if you have trouble). Have fun!!!

Slow German Podcast
Below are three sample podcasts for learning the German language. They were all found on iTunes and then located on the Web. Others are also available, so please go ahead and take a look: from the main page of the “iTunes Music Store” look for the dropdown menu at the “Learn a Language” section.
You can listen to a podcast from from an Oxley blog:
SlowGerman.com – sample:
Or embed a video podcast like this animated slideshow variation.
Finally, many Web sites offer the chance to listen online or download the file.
