Group presentations began on Friday Week 7A on the MyPlace Project. Mr. March shared a slideshow that brought up issues related to The New WWW - Whatever, Whenever, Wherever and how this might affect today’s students. One particularly interesting bit of feedback was that when he asked how many students would consider a small implant if it allowed them to control their mp3 players, over half the students signaled that they were ready for a little day surgery. We then watched a YouTube video of “The Last ANZAC” and discussed how it made us feel and what were some of the values we carry forward from “The ANZAC Tradition.”This week, we will continue exploring the ANZACs and “What it means to be an Australian (in the 21st Century).”

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

“For the southern highlands there are the issues of commuting, it’s the issues of what happens when you’re an hour’s drive from Sydney you spend most of that in a parking bay on the M5, and you can’t catch a train because you can’t rely on them, and down here it’s water.
